Yoga Etiquette and House Rules

15 Minute Rule for New Students
New students should plan to arrive to class a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their first class. This ensures adequate time to get you signed-in, through orientation, and set-up on your mat. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate new students who show up less than 15 minutes before their first class.

All Students should arrive early
While it’s mandatory for new students to arrive early, all should practice arriving early to allow ample time to sign in, settle in and align your attitude with the purpose of the class. While you’re waiting you can practice a pose, do a few stretches or just sit or lie quietly, breathe and get centered.

Check-in Policy
Please stop by the front desk and check in with the desk worker, even if you have signed-in online. This is critical. Each and every person must be accounted for.

Class Reservations
The best way to reserve your spot in any class is to sign up online. You may reserve your spot in a class up to 30 minutes before class starts. We reserve spots for walk-in clients in each class, so don’t stress if a class shows as full online. Just show up early, and your chances are good! If you reserve a spot online and do not come to class, you will be charged unless you cancel your reservation online 30 minutes in advance. We cannot take phone cancellations. If you reserve a spot online and do not check in at the front desk prior to class, your spot may be given away.

Final Sale
Please choose wisely; all sales are final. This applies to classes and products. No refunds, exchanges, or transfers. If you are unsure about your schedule, please choose a shorter-term package.

No Late Arrivals
Classes start on time. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter hot room. If you find yourself running late, please consider taking a later class.

Mat, towel and water bottle are required!
Always practice with a mat, towel and water bottle. These are available for rent or sale if you forget something.

Classroom Silence
Please observe the sacred silence of the classroom. This quiet stillness is one of the greatest gifts we give each other and ourselves.

No shoes in the studio
Please remember to always remove your shoes and store them in the cubbies before entering the studio.

Disable electronics
Please turn off cell phones, pagers & anything that makes noise and leave outside of the classroom.

General Yoga Etiquette

  • Be mindful of the space around you. Try to avoid bumping into your neighbor and stepping on other people’s mats.
  • Keep your eyes on your own practice. Every BODY is made different. Wandering eyes can promote comparison and competition.
  • Please wipe up any sweat around your space.
  • Try to stay in the room for the entire class.

Lost and Found
Items left in the studios are donated to Goodwill twice a month. If you think you may have left something behind, please check the Lost and Found.

Limit Bathroom/Shower time
Due to the limited number of bathrooms, please be considerate of others and limit your shower time or other bathroom prep time.
